“The Daily Show” host Jon Stewart accused President Trump and the Republican Party of “unclear hypocrisy” when it comes to free speech defenses in a 10-minute noise.
“They [Republicans] So fetishize free speech – this thing they do not practice in any way, “Stewart said during his appearance on Monday.
“These people do not give AF -K for free speech!” he added. “They take care of their speech.
The left-wing comic has been involved in some actions taken by Trump since his inauguration-as Barring Associated Press staff from the White House events to refuse to bow to his will on the newcomers of America is reported to be hitting in liberal law firms and trying to expel anti-Israel protesters.
Stewart also broadcast Fox News clips expect Laura Ingram and Jeanine Pirro; Ex-fiancé of former fiancé Donald Trump Jr. Kimberly guilfoyle; and rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene mourning a democratic campaign against free speech.
“Fortunately, our national free speech Nightmare was late when we entered the Golden Age,” Stewart said sarcastically.
“The Daily Show” then broadcast a montage of Trump boasting about returning the free speech, saying “We have saved the free speech in America” and “free speech in America, is back”.
But Stewart told about Trump’s attacks on the media – calling CNN and illegal MSNBC and calling for CBS News and ABC News to lose their licenses – as evidence of a double standard.
“In general, you should seek the archives of contradictions in one’s stated principles, dig through policy letters to discover private actions that have been mined by one’s public attitude, but this is so unclear,” Stewart said as he holds his head.
“I can’t wrap his head around him,” he continued.
The post arrived at the White House for comment.
Stewart also aimed at Trump’s attack on diversity, equality and inclusion, specifically an internal document that flags dozens of words listed in black for employees of the National Science Foundation working in new studies, according to the Washington Post.
“You can’t say words like women? Or sex? Or #MeMetoo?” Said Stewart. “How can many of your cabinet members describe their weekends?”
“You know you can’t protest in a way to offend the right, you can’t teach things that the right doesn’t want you to learn, you can’t read things that the right doesn’t want you to read, you can’t use words that they don’t want to use,” continued Stewart, “but they love free word!”
“At least we will always have art,” he withdrew in an excavation in Trump, which complained this week about a vague portrait of himself who had been on the show in the Capitol of Colorado.
The portrait is decided to overthrow after complaints from Republican leaders, according to a spokesman for Democrats of Colorado’s house.
