CNN Scott Jennings commentator accused Jimmy Kimmel of giving his left viewers “march orders” to destroy the property Thursday after the Late ABC comedy host appeared sarcasted his viewers not to vandalize Tesla vehicles.
“Message from the American left to the Conservatives is incomprehensible: silence ourselves, or we will do it for you. This is not comedy – these are march orders,” Jennings wrote in his account X.
Pundit CNN was responding to video clips of Kimmel’s monologue from his ABC show on Tuesday evening when he told a cheering audience that Tesla’s actions had fallen in the middle of a reaction against Ceo Elon Musk for his role in the Trump administration.
“People have been vandalizing Tesla vehicles. The new Tesla vehicle. Please don’t vandalize. Never vandalize Tesla vehicles,” Kimmel said before doing a long pause while the audience laughed.
During his Tuesday evening show, Kimmel observed humorously about musk management practices and the price of tesla drop.
Addressing his direct studio audience, Kimmel joked: “Our co-president Elon Musk sent a Spacex vehicle to restore astronauts, and when they sat down, he fired them shortly after landing.”
He followed this by emphasizing Tesla’s financial disturbing situation: “Tesla’s actions are down, almost catastrophic so”, before sarcastically instructing his viewers not vandalizing Tesla cars.
Kimmel reviewed the topic at his Wednesday’s show – directly referring to recent violence against Tesla traders.
He responded to Criticism from Musk, who told Fox News’s Sean Hannity: “Tesla is a peaceful company. I’ve never done anything terrible. I think we just have a deranged … There is a kind of mental illness that is happening here.”
Responding to Music’s apparent confusion over the enmity directed at his company, Kimmel commented on Wednesday: “Well, let me see if I can explain to you when you get a saw with a saw to celebrate thousands of people, they go crazy.”
Kimmel then amplified his criticism, saying, “This poor guy. You make one, perhaps two Nazi greetings and everyone gets everyone bowed.”
